I can call it pure playground or never ending lab. This is how it feels. Now a little bit about my creative process.
In my works I apply polymer clay sculptures into the embroidery. There is no guide or manual for that. I am (most probably) the first person who does such thing. So mostly I use my imagination. I don’t set any particular rules.
However I can see patterns in the way the piece is designed. First comes a small sketch.
I often start with sculpting polymer clay piece. Then after it is hardened in the oven I pick up colors of threads and fabric.
From now on I stitch and this usually takes a lot of time.
When it’s done I back the hoop. Usually a photo session follows.
